HAVE: SALVIA MAYNIGHT

Athens, OH

This is an absolutely a gorgeous plant.
Blooms from now until frost, with dead-heading, here in OH.
I need to remove several to make room for new plants.

I would prefer to send 2-3 (~4" equivalent) plants, rather than just 1 here and there.
Will ship priority mail.

Will give preference to those who are willing to trade a few plants of:
Pulmonaria
Tricyrtis
Hellebore argutifolia
aconitum
allium giganteum bulb
aquilegia (columbine) (color: yellow or red or combo)
blettia striata alba
heuchera 'snow storm'
penstemon (color: true blue or vibrant hot pink or purple)
polemonium 'bressingham purple'
Louisiana iris (vibrant colored, not light pastel)
Historic iris

Unusual but hardy to zone 6a, shade plant.
Unusual but hardy to zone 6a, sun plant that is at least 2 feet tall.

Thanks, ROX

Rox, I'd love to see if we can work out a trade... My mom recently took down a couple of trees, creating a new sunny area in their front yard, and she would love some Salvia!

I believe there are 2 wintersown seedlings of Penstemmon in 2 inch pots out on the deck. The ones I wintersowed last year bloomed this spring, a beautiful bright violet purple, and these came from the same set of seeds (so should bloom violet also, although they aren't blooming size yet). I have both yellow and red/yellow columbine seeds that were harvested last year but have been stored in the refrigerator so I'm sure they're fine. Additionally, our local iris society is having their sale in a couple of weeks, so I should be able to get you some Louisiana iris or historic iris. I also have black eyed susans, 'Early Sunrise' coreopsis, & Chocolate Peppermint ready to go now, and various other mints and herbs if you don't mind a little wait.

I know you didn't mention houseplants, but I have lots of African Violets, mostly named varieties. Some plantlets are ready to go now, others should be ready by fall, and there's still time to put down leaves of others that might interest you in order to send you a leaf pot with little plantlets this fall. I also have philodendrons, wandering jew, plectranthus, spider plants, etc.... could take cuttings to root for you.

Please Dmail me and LMK if you think any of the above would work for you. I like the idea of doing a larger trade for a number of plants if possible, to make postage & packaging worth while.

Hi,
I would love to trade some of my historical iris for some of your Salvia. Let me know if your interested.
