To those I owe trades...

Hello everyone,
Well we did it...the wedding was beautiful! It took more out of me than I expected, because of the heat (not good with my MS)...but I should be back to normal in a couple of days. I will try to get everything done by the beginning of next week. So please be patient and know I have not forgotten any of you! That does not mean you shouldn't dmail me and remind me though...lol...just to be sure I don't miss anyone...this is a picture of my beautiful daughter and her sweet husband...Melanie and Shawn Hall...and the rest of my family...

One more of just she and I..and I won't bore you all with the rest..at least not until I get the professional ones! Thanks again for being patient with me while I got through this!

Thanks everyone. Yes it is pink satin with lace overlay...it was my dress. When I married 35 years ago I designed and had my dress made. It was sleeveless with a high neckline...we had it remade for her into a strapless gown. The semstress did a remarkable job. She was thrilled at the condition of the satin and lace after so many years. Told us you cannot get lace like that except as a rareity now and only in the cream, not in colors...and it is well over $50.00 a yard. I think when I purchased the materials the total was around $50.00. We were very pleased with the way everything turned out!

I did enjoy every minute of it, but once it was over, I realized how much it took out of me! I didn't get home until Sunday (Left home Friday at 1:00 pm. it is an hours drive) late, after having brunch with his family before they left town, and I thought my body was going to be frozen in the seat of the car before I could get here. Almost couldn't get out of the car, so it has taken me a couple of days to recoup, and I am feeling a lot more MS things going on, I am sure are from the stress and the physical exertion, but they will pass. Thanks everyone for your sweet remarks and your concern.
