Hi everyone,
I posted this earlier but forgot a subject. I'm going to try again.
I went to k-mart and they were having a close-out on all of their Martha Stewart bulbs. Please note that I am a fairly new gardener and now I'm totally confused.
I bought poppy anemone, freesia,, brodiacea-Queen fabiola, peruvian daffodil, habranthus-robistus, acidanthera--murielae, polianthes-the pearl, and anemone-de caen. Some of these things I've never heard of before.
My question is are any of these suitable for zone 5 weather (upper Michigan), can I plant them now and do I need to dig them up in the fall.
I hope this isn't a dumb question, I couldn't resist a sale but I can still return them if need be.
Thanks for your help,
Sue
Questions from a newbie
Usually the package will have guidelines on the zones they can live in. I am no expert myself - am rather new to gardening also - I use the "PlantScout" all the time - you can just type in the name and up will come pictures, descriptions, and hardiness, etc. Hope this helps!! :)
O.k. great I will check that out :)
I guess it is actually the "PlantFiles" I use more regularly - sorry for any confusion!!!
