I garden on the Pacific coast of Mexico and am looking for other gardeners in this climate to share information and experiences with. I don't have a photo of an hibiscus, but here is some of the natural vegetation here in Chacala.
Looking for gardeners - Pacific coast Mexico
Don't see too many people from Zone 11 around...lots of people in zone 10 though which shouldn't be too far off. Not being familiar with that part of Mexico, are you more low humidity (which would make your climate more like Southern CA) or higher humidity (more like Florida and Hawaii). You may not find too many people from your area of Mexico, but there are lots of people from SoCal and Florida and a few from Hawaii, and I'm sure you can grow similar plants to people in one of those areas.
You can also go here on the member list and click on zone 11 to see who else is in your zone and where they are (you might check zone 10 too, they can probably grow many of the same things and you'll find a lot more people). I saw in your post over on tropicals that you have higher humidity so you'll have more in common with the Florida and Hawaii gardeners than you will with the people in California.

Dave just announced a new feature where you can find people who are close to you geographically...I don't know for sure if it works for international locations but I assume it would

Hi - I loved your beautiful picture. gave me a laugh and a smile. I couldnt see from the smaller version that there were 4 rare treasures back there livening things up for you. They appear to be thriving in Zone 11! Keep up the good work! - Polly
p.s. I have 3 of a similar species who demand plenty of care, but give me back lots, too.
