Lovely!
Very nice, I need to get one of these, supposed to be a good breeder plant for crossing.
Would love to see some crosses with this plant. Wowee, I bet they would be great!
wow prettier than my bloom.
Is the the black dragon a tropical or is it a hardy. Your blooms are gorgeous. Love the color.
just beautiful.
Ok I need one of these!
me too, me too. That Black Dragon is stunning.
The hibiscus are tropicals. I am rooting some cuttings right now so I should have some to share soon. Tanarae
You can find these hibiscus at Dupont Nursery in La. Thier website is www.dupontnursery.com I am pretty sure. I don't know if they are available right now or not. The pic of thier tsunami looks much different than my bloom. But that is where I ordered mine. Tanarae
The pink and white is Ces't Bon and the yellow is Evangeline
You really got some nice hibiscus from Dupont Nursery, I will have to go check them out.
Linda
Well shoot, I want a Black Dragon too. LOL What a beaut!!
Hi Donna, I bought a flat of them and nearly all of them are slightly different some were more peachy petals with yellow edges and some were clearly white with yellow edges. Very strange. I would have thought with all of them from cuttings they would be the same?? I don't think I have had one with those shades. I think they are all pretty though. Evangeline is one of my favorites. Tanare
Pretty blooms all of them. It's a shame Dupont doesn't sell in this part of the world.
Both Evangeline blooms are the same. Many cultivars show slightly different blooms due to the weather conditions, sun exposition, fertilizing and age.
Carlos
Beauty isn't it. Love the deep rich color.
I am one day going to have a greenhouse to over winter plants. I can't stand not having some of these beauties. Marie
Thanks for the tip Carlos, I am sure now that I think about it that you are correct. You know you could take cuttings and root them over the winter indoors and wouldn't have to have alot of space that way. Tanarae
