Hi Everyone,

U.P., MI(Zone 5a)

Hi Everyone,
I went to k-mart and they were having a close-out on all of their Martha Stewart bulbs. Please note that I am a faily new gardener and now I'm totally confused.
I bought poppy anemone, freesia. ornamental lilly, brodiacea, dutch iris, peruvian daffodil, habranthus, acidanthera, and polianthes. Also canna and gladiolas. Some of these things I've never heard of before.
I know I can plant the canna and gladiolas now and they have to be dug up in the winter for my zone 5 area.
My question is are the rest of these suitable for zone 5 weather, can I plant them now and do I need to dig them up in the fall.
I hope this isn't a stupid question, I couldn't resist a sale. I also bought clematis and liatris. :)

Thanks for your help,
Sue

Wow! You got a good deal. Our Kmart down here didn't carry any bulbs at all, I kept checking hope to find some different things. I'm not sure about your zone question hopefully someone closer to you can weigh in. I was just wondering though, what kind of habranthus did you get? I love those! I bought several different ones this spring.
