Excellent!
So, how long did that take??

Looking good. Won't be long and you will be knee deep in color and fragrance.

17 days. Too long for my patience, but just right for perfection.

You are getting so close! LOL. I love your title, X. Funny how some go so very fast and others just take forever. I think when it is warm they really zip, it seems to me. I suddenly have so many all over flowering.

Thanks for sharing the looong process it takes for the brugs to bloom! Truly, I had no idea.
I've been looking in the opening of my bloom to check the progress every day. Please tell me others here do that as well! :)

Like Kell said, some take forever and others just pop right out. Mine are probably slow because I don't feed them until July. I let them take their time growing and once established then start feeding them. I think they do better for when it starts to get blazing hot day after day if they aren't encouraged by food to grow really fast, perhaps develop a sturdier cell structure. It may be all in my head, but it seems they aren't attacked by insects as badly either. A few years back when I started feeding them in late April it seemed I was constantly fighting whitefly and severe wilting in midday as early as the first of June. Since I quit feeding them in Spring, they seem to do so much better and insects don't seem to bother them. I've noticed that once I start feeding them, I start to get lots of whitefly. May be just coincidence. I've taken that approach with all of my plants and they all seem to be healthier and able to withstand insect and heat attacks.

Mine are all in the ground, I imagine you probably could not use this approach successfully with containerized brugs.

Day 3 .. getting really impatient here. I went out and gave them a pep talk.
