Does anyomne have the super cool Add A Sprere ?
wow, how cool is that!!!!!
I used several for a fish display during a home and garden show. It was not that name of product, but the same idea.
I then had my future son-in-law test it in his pond. Yes, it works; however, you need to make sure your water quality is very good because if you have dirty water it will look dirty in the globe. Also, he had it in full sun and thought that might make the water hotter and greener. He thought if you had shade in your pond that might be the area to put it.
How much are they asking for these?
Thanks for the info . I'm a bit worried about the heat factor as well . My water stays crystal clear but I also wonder about algea growth being a problem . I have a section of the ponmd that gets afternoon sun I thought Id put it there .
Garden gate has them in 16 and 18 inches . the !8 inch is the one I want . its 210.00 plus shipping .
Too Kuhl !!! They are pretty expensive, so I will have to save up. I guess it is time to clean out the couch cushions, the bottom of the purse, under the car seats, ................... :)
That is unique, but very expensive. Cheaper to get a really big magnifying glass!! Anyway, if one of my koi tried to squeeze into that, he'd be pulling it under like the shark pulled the tanks down in Jaws. Would scare the heck out of his brethren.

Someone told me they had seen bridges like that made out of plexiglass where they fish go in one end and can swim through the bridge and come out the other.
I had to use a wet dry vac to suck the air out of the globes so the water would come up in it. It doesn't sound like they have come down in price any.
I heard that too on one of the yahoo groups Im on ... but I would think that that presents quite a design challenge !
Do you have a globe , DarlinDeb ?
Do you love it , hate it or ? Please share :)

Yupe, I have some, but I'm not currently playing with them. I may try putting one up after things slow down between work and the new puppy and see how it does. As I said, I used them for a display. You can also put a light made for water gardens underneath them. The son-in -law did that for a night pond tour and it was pretty cool.
It looked like the tool they designed for release of floating food was better than what I had. Mine was like a pvc pipe contraption with a magnet and fishing string to pull the metal cover back.
