I am interested in acquiring either Altona OR Nikko Blue Hydrangea. I have very healthy and large Annabelle Hydrangea for trade from Michigan. I live in Zone 5b.
Thanks!
WANTED: Altona OR Nikko Blue Hydrangea-
Hi Michelle, I was just surfing the net the other day looking for info on Annabelle. I would be very interested in exchanging for it. I have a Nikko Blue plant.

Hi Dott-
Thank you for your reply. Please forgive me but I'm new to Dave's Garden and I've also never done cuttings on the hydrangea. Would you mind providing some advice?
I've reveiwed "Rooting Cuttings in 5 easy steps" on www.hydrangeashydrangeas.com/propgation.html and it seems very straight forward. I'm happy to send you as many cuttings as you would like but I fear I won't do it right. With that said, how about I send you some and when they arrive, you decide if they will make it. If they seem OK, then please send me some of your Nikko Blue.
Is "any time of year" ok to do cuttings on Annabelle? If so, please supply your address so that I can send....is this how we do it? I live in 5b (Grand Rapids, Michigan) and this Annabelle Hydrangea seems VERY HARDY. I'm hoping your Nikko Blue will do OK in my zone.
Also I have taken 2 root cuttings (nice amount of roots, straight from the ground) and transplanted them in a pot to see how they will do. Should I wait to see if these survive and send them to you?
Here is my number as well (616-942-1582). We have a flat phone fee so all long distance calls are included if you prefer that I contact you via phone.
Thanks again,
Michelle
