Opera's Il Stranerio

The Heart of Texas, TX(Zone 8b)

I love this AV & it's blooms....Opera's Il Stranerio.

This violet has smooth shiny leaves unlike most that are soft & fuzzy. Puts on a very nice sho when it blooms too. This was blooming in the closed box when we moved.

MsCritter that's wonderful! I love it!

MsC. I love it too. I got one this spring at Violet Gallery. I love the leaves also. Mine looks a little more on the magenta side. I love the wide bad of color with lighter color and fantasy in the middle.

I tell you the web site photos do not do justice to these AVs all the photos posted by forum members are so much better!

It's become one of my favorites...it's very different.

Yes, April I agree, the photos on the AVSA website need a little work. Some are really bad and there are a few that just don't come close.

Ditigal photography has done a lot for photos!

This is a beautiful AV! I love the fantasy flowers. I lean towards speckles and spots in my morning glories too :)

This thing gets huge too.. I just stripped leaves & repotted it. It was growing lopsided because of the move.

I have to do that, but I think I'm going to wait until after we move, that way I won't have to do it twice. We aren't moving nearly as far as you, only 30-45 minutes, but moving my babies (critters and plants) is going to be fun LOL

Now, just keep your fingers crossed we get the house!

Prayers for your house!
I don't envy you having to move in this heat!

We will be here at least 2 years then we will move again I think.
