I am levelling a grade, and want to put decent soil in its place. I am in Frisco (North Dallas area) and want to know who, if anyone, knows of a place that won't overcharge me for soil that is not cheap fill. I am going to be using some existing texas clay to get the first foot or so level on the low end, then the next 8-16 inches with soil that will grow something.
Any suggestions would be welcomed.
Thanks
W J
Soil!
You can get the Plano pure stuff for about $25 a cubic yard, but that's if you have a truck or trailer to pick it up. My neighbor got some recently and it looks like good stuff. The two other places I know of around here charge about the same.
sweezel - you have any contact information - phone number - who I can call?
Thanks

The don't answer the phone on Saturday's, but I know the Plano location (Custer just south of 121) is open until 4:30pm. It's also the satellite "Enviromental Waste" location for Collin County 972-769-4150 Here is a website too... http://www.plano.gov/Departments/Environmental+Services/Texas_Pure/1_texas_pure.htm
