What's blooming today

Here's what's blooming today. Part of my pink and white landscape scheme. (I went heavier on the pink than the white idea) This is Painted Lady.

More Painted Lady. She's been easy care. Bugs didn't bug her.

B. Candida Double White is also in bloom but looks lousy. No need to picture a wilted brug.

Very pretty bloom and plant. I like the way it looks like it ruffles at the bottom.

Pretty plant, Mary. Those blooms really show up nicely.

Yes Ruth, she's as dark as she looks on my monitor, and she gets darker still in other parts of the country. This is the darkest pink I've gotten so far. She smells good when she opens up at night too.

Don't you hate that we do not get the darker pinks? I think it is because of our low humidity. She is so pretty and a great pink regardless if she is not as dark as she can get.

I saw a a pink and white combo pot the other day outside of Nordstroms. I loved the combo. Those colors are really striking together. You will have to show us more pictures of your pink and white garden vignettes Mary!
