two dead brugs I through out on the compost pile because it was so full of mites I could not kill them and the other I can't remember but it did not winter well and had no leaves on it.

Why don't the ones that you are trying so hard to keep do this? Joan

LOL! They are tough plants when they want to be. I've had some surprises this year myself, but not because I composted them. They were dead for all practical purposes and now are growing like crazy. I was sure they were gone. All it took was getting the pots outside in the sun after overwintering in the cold garage. Now, like you say, had I really wanted them to live, they wouldn't have.

Joan, you have to let them live now after they have fought so hard to. LOL. I sure hope mites do not come visit you again. Don't you just hate them?

The only thing I have found that will totally take care of spider mites is Pyola .. as much as I hate the company Gardens Alive, Pyola is great stuff.

Kell you are right I am putting them in the ground today.

Brugie we just have to keep them. Joan

Mites are enemy #1 for me. Other than some root rot in the winter, mites have been the only problem that makes me want to scream.
