Vero Beach, FL(Zone 9b)

Ok well I ordered this!

First is was back ordered until June..then July now end of august..so I cancelled it! In the meantime I am in dire need of more room for my plants!
Anyone have any suggestions on making a plant stand? Or where to look for a reasonably priced one!

I've seen plans posted (maybe on the propagation forum) for a plant stand made from PVC pipes... the shelves are just a framework made to hold trays, or you could put grid across them. Looking at that shelf from Charley's, I'll bet you could make that out of PVC! Think in terms of using elbows, 3-way, or 4-way connectors at the corners, maybe adding another 3 way connector or two along the back so you could put in a couple extra pieces of PVC for support.

If you wanted something fancier & even sturdier (albeit heavier), you might think in terms of making a framework out of copper pipe and plumbing connectors. You can get them to put threads at the end of copper pipe pieces, or you could probably use the kind of smooth connections that are generally soldered together (but I don't think you'd need the solder, just shove the pipe into the connector sleeve as far as it'll go).

My husband bought me the heavy plastic ones at Lowes/HD for like $39.00 5 shelves of 3 feet by 2 ftt.

We got a big black plastic one at Lowe's too. I want to say ours is 4 feet wide, but I can't promise. It was about $40. Probably just like the one Allison is talking about.

Their real sturdy and I like they can be washed, bleached. Hubby taked them outside and scrubes them down with tide so it won't wreck the grass but does kill bad bugs.
My shelves are 2 ft wide and we now have the two pushed together and use 4 ft. long light tubes .

OH PS my shelves are more white toward a light blue/silver color.
