Hoya hunting at the Huntington Gardens

Mesa, AZ(Zone 9a)

I'm having a wonderful vacation and was blessed to be able to buy hoya cuttings from the Huntington Gardens that were from a private donation. I think I ended up with about 25 cuttings, the variegated pink Mother of 1000's, some unusual epi's and succulents. I also picked up 16 pots of hoyas. I will be bringing back 3 boxes full of plants. I guess I know what I'll be doing all weekend.

Blessings,
Awanda

Betsy Norma is doing as well as can be expected. She's coming to visit us sometime in July, and we are taking her to some nurseries in Tucson. We took her to Starbucks for the first time:-). She said she had heard some much about Starbuck's coffee and wanted to give it a try. She was truly a wonderful host and hubby and I had just an awesome time with her. Here is a picture of her over 6000 plants she has in her back yard, HD and Lowe's can't even begin to compare with her.

Awanda

Good golly!
Now I see how Norma keeps so busy!

Yes, Awanda....Tami's right....there couldn't possibly be more room?
You know, the Wisconsin sunshine is pretty darned nice this time of year?! It strongly compares to the AZ sunshine, really.

Keep having fun, and hugs to Norma!!

Nan Tami is right, there is no more room in the greenhouse, I'm pretty much maxed out. Both lighted plant stands are full as is all the window space in the kitchen nook area, the bathroom area is also full. I have no idea where I will put the cuttings once they root and other hoyas I brought from California. Hubby has agreed to another larger greenhouse, so the search is on. Nan are you saying you are willing to hoya-sit for me now that I'm out of room:-)?
