Stargazer Lily's

Archer/Bronson, FL(Zone 8b)

I recently received some lilies that were on the tail end of green or completely finished and died back altogether. They were in pots and I don't really have a place to store the pots until next bloom season.

I removed the bulbs from the potted soil and now I need to know what to do with them. 4-5 months seems a bit of a long time to store them in the heat. Can I replant them in the ground and let them do their growing under ground until the next bloom season?

You mean plant them in a ground now? I don't see why not except for the fact that they'd be eaten. I left the ones I bought in bloom from the grocery store out all year long in the pots on the exposed patio and they rebloomed this year with no care but water and food in Spring.

Okay, Thanks Andi

I also put mine in the ground. I got mine from a pot as well. They seem to be happy!
