Ordering from David Liddle

Vero Beach, FL(Zone 9b)

I hear it is extremely expensive to order from David since there is a quarintine charge...Has anyone ordered from him? How much was this fee? Shipping?

and would anyone be interested in giong in on an order?

Lastly...does he have a website?

Lorry...I order from him almost yearly. There is a Phyto charge of $100 for the hoops he has to jump thru with Australian Ag...and the shipping which varies.

Does he have a website I can look at?
I may be interested in order, especially if I could get some ladies to go in on a shipment with me :)

Edited to say, Ooops, got him confused. Don't know. Sorry.

Chris you will also need a permit to order and receive hoyas from David. You'll need to apply via the US Ag Dept. It took me about a month or so to receive my permits.

I read on the other hoya forum that they went together and put in an order from him. If we got enough people together and order at the same time, that $100 charge would bite a little less hard. I would like to be first on the list or last on the list as long as I'm on the list and get to order!!! -joanne

Hi Chris,
We did a group order earlier this year. it wasn't to expensive. There were 5 of us that ordered. I think I got 30 hoya's and then my part of the phyto charge was about 30.00. Make sure when you order that you don't order the thin stem hoya, they do not travel very well. He has alot of hoya's, kinda like a candy store !!!!! I don't think we had to apply for a permit to receive them, just the phyto on he's end...

Edited to say... Make sure if you order from him, not to order the thin leaved hoya, they do not travel very well.

David can't ship without an Import Permit from the US...I think Awanda did have one as she said... It is Free! which is a great price!!!

Cool :)
Can I get this phyto by online application? Or do I need to go to the ag dept personally?

Thanks for all your help ladies I do appreciate it :)
