Have Daboecia cantabrica, mostly feral. (Wild descendants of garden plants). Also W. Buchanan Gold, a yellow leaf cultivar. Only 4" tall.
Saint Dabeoc was a disciple of St. Pat. Plant name is traditionally mis-spelled.

Saint Dabeoc's Heath
Am truly Interested Dont know if I have anything. How about a smallaruncus??SHirley
I am mostly playing with Ericales.
Rhododendrons, incl. Ledum, Azaleas, Vireyas etc.
Cassiope, Empetrum, Corema, Ceratiola
W. Buchanan Gold grows to 8".
The feral Daboecia cantabrica has flowered and spread for many years below mower height. These may be hybrids with Daboecia azorica, mowing would eliminate most traits of the taller species. Buchanan is a hybrid.
