About 5 years ago I planted these 2 clematis together and this is the first year they have bloomed so nice and I can't remember either one of there names. The white one is a double bloom, large, and the purple one is also a large bloom. Anyone know who we are?

Beautiful combo! It looks like earwigs are attacking your white Clematis too. Have you tried using an insecticidal soap? It may help.
Wow, thanks for the names, they are beautiful. I was wonderfing what was making those holes in my clematis, I should have remembered earwigs, they destroy my brug blooms. I will try some insecticidal soap to see if that helps.
