This is not Salvia pachyphylla. It is mosy likely to be Salvia sclarea.

Robin, thank you! We've had this plant about 6 years and it was sold to us as S. pachyphylla by a very reputable mail order nursery. Guess they goofed. We are heading out of town but I will take the time to report it to PF Adminstrators once we get back and request that the photo either be deleted or moved.
