Recently purchased two fan palms at an auction. They are in cement pots with sandy soil. Very root bound and heavy. Would like any info on how to repot them and their care.

Probably better to ask in the Palm & Cycad Forum. They like hot, dry, sun. They don't like to be wet in winter and we can sometimes overwinter them here if they are perfectly dry with south exposure.
