Have you ever had this cake?

It is yummy. I just had a wonderful northern DGer mail me some along with the cherry frosting as the whole city of San Antonio (only 2 real markets: HEB or Super Walmart) do NOT carry it! Down here they substitute the space on the shelf to Strawberry flavored pink cake (?), not interested in trying that.

Do you have a great recipe for cherry cake that doesn't have big chunks of cherries? Or do you think you could concoct a recipe for something like Betty Crocker has mastered? Perhaps a link to a website cracking commercial recipes?
