Congrats on your Archie blooms, always interesting to see how variable the bloom color can be on archie.

My Archie just blasted too. Darn. Don't know what went wrong. I think maybe it is that when I see buds, I think, Oh they need some more water now, & then maybe I overdo it or something.
I got mine from Logees when they first started carrying them, and it came with blooms on it. Just a little plant with these HUGE flowers. Ha. sure looked strange. (hasn't bloomed since...so see.. I don't have blooming luck with everything).

Macon, IL(Zone 5b)

Marcy - that's interesting - mine came from Logee's too. It's a little plant (3 leaves) with a HUGE peduncle (!), that had buds forming when I got it. Those buds, and all subsequent buds, have blasted....hmmmm...

Thanks you guys!!! I was missing the blooms because there up over my head,DH is the one who noticed..He has this new camera and has been taking pictures a lot...What I have noticed with Archie is she likes to be high up closer to the shade cloth and lots of water, well I water twice a day now,but my growing weather is hot and humid, like Carol's, sum days it is too humid!!! Once she starts blooming she never stops and they will bloom any size, big plant/small plant..

Diane, very pretty flower. This sounds like it is not the hoya for me. Relative humidity today is 7. Like Milan I also enjoy seeing the difference in color on this hoya. Good growing Diane !!!

Ut Oh Denise...I forgot to mention, you can get in big trouble reading in here. First thing you know, there are 50 plants on your "hoya wish list". Ha. We have decided we have a serious "hoya obsession disorder" and it has yet to be cured on any of us. Ha.
There is however, comfort in knowing you are not alone with this.
:-D

Ain't that the berries. I can't get one to bloom and your baby bloomed three times. She is a beauty.
