Meet "Mr. Spooky'', the stray.

Lakemont, GA(Zone 8a)

This not quite full grown male cat[think maybe 6-8 mos old] is becoming a regular evening visitor. He is either lost, abandoned, or has a home where he's allowed to roam away. He's kinda skinny but seems to be healthy. He is very, very vocal and almost never is silent. I wonder if maybe he's slightly retarded. It is obvious he has been around people before and isn't truly wild/feral. He's very loving and gives me kisses on the chin. I first saw him a week ago and he scared the daylights out of me- hence the name. It was dark and I was going into my dogs pen to lock him in for the night when this white streak zooms by me making all kinds of racket. I think he was eating dog food that Apollo had left in his dish.

Mitsi and Gigi hate him of course and hiss, growl and slap him silly but he wants to make friends so badly. Due to my present circumstances I cannot "officially" adopt him right now. I can and will provide him with food, water and lots of love when he makes his nightly foray to my place. I can provide him food but can't afford vet care, though. At least he won't go hungry. I do worry about his safety when he leaves and I cringe to think how many female cats he could impregnate, as he is still intact. He has spent the night on the porch a few times and was still there in the AM when DH went to work. This morning he also came back- and got fed again- LOL!

I am already attached to him and it's so hard to see him wander off . Maybe the Lord will find a way to let me keep him, or at least make him stay in my yard.

Here's a few pics. Couldn't get a good one of his face up close.
