What's happening to my passie?

This is my passion flower caerulea that's sick. It's yellowing in places and dropping leaves and lots of leaves are curling. What do you think the problem is?

Have you sprayed it lately with anything, fertilized it with anything,is it possible its just dropping old leaves to put on new ones?
Check for spidermites.

I might have been giving it too much water and I have used MG on it. I really don't think it's just dropping old leaves. My other one doesn't look like this. I don't see any spidermites or anything. It is in full hot sun all day.

Yes they don't like standing water ,but in good drainage they can take plenty of water, they like that, during the hot summertime heat, and yours is in full sun, keep eye to see if new growth is happening, sign plant is doing ok!

For me, I have a history of overwatering, whenever I see yellowing leaves it is generally overwatering. That's what I look at 1st, then I look for insects.

Also take a look at the root ball - all too often, the problem lies in the roots - constriction equals death!

Kay, would the roots be constricted if it's in the ground? That's a good thought since this morning I took a very close look at it. Seems like there were a couple of branches that were the main culprits so I've snipped them off and picked off dead and yellowing leaves. Looks a little bare in a couple of spots, but this way I can keep better track of what it's doing. It does look like some new growth on the other branches.
