I bought 2 strepts from Bluebird last time I was there and I didn't even notice they were not labeled. So I took photos of them and sent Bluebird an email and asked for an ID. They knew the name of one but not the other one. So I'm hoping that one of you here will know what it is. It just bloomed again and is so pretty. The first image is what it looks like fully open and the second one is of the bloom just beginning to open. Thanks for your help.

Pretty ! It's not on their web sight ? There is a Streptocarpus hugh web that had many pictures and names of Streps link in sticky you culd always look there. Did it have a tag when you bought it ?

I finally had to go to Bluebird yesterday to get some pots so I looked to see if they had this one and they had lots of them. The name of it is Jealous Heart. I was not supposed to buy anything other than pots but I just had to buy a couple streps and a chirita. I will take some photos later when I can get up. I've got a bum ankle with a brace on it right now. Maybe the next time I'm up I can take some photos. I also got two AVs too. And since I'm going to be out of town and worried about hubby taking care of them, I bought a few more of those Watermaid waterers. I keep all of my special things like streps and chiritas on them. Jesse you like the Watermaid waterers ? How do they work ? How much water do they hold ?
Yes, I like them very much. I am not sure how much they hold. I would need to mearsure that. But some times I forget some of my special plants and they go lacking. But this is really helpful. You can sit any pot on it as long as it has holes in it so that the water can get to the plants. I have about 8 of them now and I really like them. I will do a test later to see how much one of the new ones really holds.
