Spanish Peaks Foxglove

Garland, TX(Zone 8a)

Last year some I promised some DG folks Spanish Peaks (Digitalis Thapsi) seed. About that time my father became ill and I had to leave town to be with him...Anyways I just harvested seed and would love to see this wonderful plant grown in our region. It is native to Spain and unlike common Foxglove it is much more heat and drought tolerant. It also varies in that it is a true perennial. Mine has gotten taller every year for the past three years.

Oh please! What can I tempt you with for a trade? Does it need winter sowing (stratification)?

Please don't send me anything I have no room. Just let keep me posted on how they do. I don't know when they should be sown. Maybe in the winter since they come from a Mediterranean climate (dry summer/wet winter)
The seeds are so small I would start them indoors in a jiffy mix or some other fine potting medium.
