Saturday I went to Bangor Humane and picked up County. She is 8 yrs old. Very nice girl. I was meeting Scott and his wife and small daughter in LL Bean's parking lot. They met me and I assume took County to Rhode Island and a new good home. They transported Tucker from RI to Freeport to another guy who was supposed to train him as a hunting dog. Tucker has been found at Bangor Humane, hit by a car, a broken leg, GSP rescue is paying for his vet bill. The guy who adopted him is black-listed, I might be going to Bangor to transport Tucker. He is a very typical 2yr old GSP. Hyper, focused, needs direction. I'm so frustrated at this adoption gone wrong, I have promised not to drive with a gun in the car. We can't take Tucker here. I have 2 weeks vacation due me. I bet I could turn him around. (Stop it, We have 4 dogs now!) Tucker is a beautiful little boy. Dillema yes, dumbness pushing in. I'll let you know.
