Houston, TX

Well come on down! We have several out of towners who travel from across the country to come to the PSA sales. If you can't come, visit the psa site for photos of the big event...

Also consider coming to the International Plumeria Conference, which is July 8-12. We have people from Italy, Brazil and Australia coming! Now that's a field trip...LOL

I've got some pics from the sale yesterday. The county fairgrounds where this sale was held is about 15 min. from my house. As you can guess, in order to get the "hot" items you need to be there 1st thing in the morning. I got there late, knowing I wasn't going to buy anything. I am saving my pennies for the sale at the Intl. Convention in Galveston in July.

I did some visiting with a couple of folks, including our own Plumerialady (Paula). I would have bought a cutting of her Paula's Pink but she was out. I think she plans to bring some to the convention sale. I have a pic of Paula and I, but even photoshopping couldn't hide my "chubbyness". Ain't no way nobody is seeing that one! (crying and laughing)

Here is a pic of Emerson Willis' neck (http://www.emersonsplumerias.com), displaying a plumeria necklace. I thought it was way cool. Started thinking, what if I bought jewelry for all my "faves". I'd have a permanent neck ache, as it would have to have a rose pendant, tropicals, plumies, daff, daylilies, AVs, amaryllis, ornamental grasses, and on and on....

I almost forgot this pic. This was displayed at Emerson's table. There may be bigger plumies out there, but this is the biggest flower I have seen so far:

edited to add name: California (Bud) Sally

Nery, you are as cute as pie and shouldn't worry about your love handles as we all have them. Thanks for sharing these pics. They are great! Love the plumie necklace that Emerson is wearing. Love that California Sally too! That Thornton's Lemon Drop is a favorite of a lot of people as well for its low branching growth habit and for its prolific blooms.
