I have another strange bloomer that has a flower kinda like carnosa...but not exactly. For one thing it is an off white. Also it doesn't ever open up all the way. It has strange thick leaves too that are lighter green and have blackish veins kind of like fungii. They are glaborous, and very thick. I got it labled "H. Thailand." Here is the flower.
Is this a H. carnosa?
Wow Marcy you are on a blooming streak. I can't help you with the name of the hoya but the flowa is really pretty!! Can you post a picture of the leaves? I also have a hoya labeled as H. Thailand, and your description matches mine. I thought I had mine inside, but it's in the greenhouse. I received it labeled as Thailand Purple Leaf via a trade.

No clue here. Who/where did you get it from? Europe? US? Where did they get it?
All of that information helps trace it down. H. thailand sounds like a shorthand version of a H. sp. X name or a cultivar name.
The flower is just lovely!!! does it have a scent? Does look like a H. carnosa leaf but that says nothing....
