Newbie has question about DG website

I figured I would try out membership for two months. After a few nights of reading the forums and researching different nurseries, I am stunned by the info available at Dave's. I'm also stunned by the number of postings at so many different forums. Does anyone know how many registered members there are? I'm guessing many thousands. Needless, to say I will be purchasing a one year membership next month. Just the computer info alone is worth it.

It shows how many members 235,000 - subscribers I can't see how to tell how many - 20% of that is my best guess. Anyway welcome aboard and I'm glad you like it here.

hello and welcome from upstate new york. this is the place to be. enjoy it.

The problem is that I can't seem to leave the site once I get set down. I stay so long that my back stiffens up and I can hardly walk!! It's addictive. I went through every single page at the frugal forum. I post and then I forget which forum I posted at. The response notifications seem to be a nuisance, so I don't want them. I'd love to try the round robin trading but I'm afraid to jump in there. I might make a mistake and screw things up for the others.

Go for it I'm sure they will welcome you on the RRT...Thats how we learn by our mistakes,just jump in and have fun...

You'll get used to everything, Audrey, although it doesn't get less addicting! I would be lost without my watched threads showing up everytime I go to my home page. :-)

Welcome to your new addiction, the good news is by being part of DG you won't gain weigh.. unless you go to the Recipe Forum which will make your mouth water and if you cook up all those wonderful treats... well what can I say.
