I was watering yesterday...and was down where I used to hang the H. sp. Sulawesi. I remember having to cut off a runner to free the pot. Lo' and behold...she snuck out on her own travelling up the tree like a big girl, 6 months later!!!
And she ran away from home....

Only you could do that Kalola! It is the natural instinct though. I have several hanging from my pecan trees and the vines reach out for the tree trunk and attach themselves.
Hmmm, wonder what would happen if I cut one loose....
My H. kerrii attached itself to the olive tree & has started to climb up too.

What a nice little surprise. I wish I had that problem.... :( I do have a sulawesi that may bloom this year... Looking forward to it.
