Need ID, please

San Marcos, Tx, TX(Zone 8b)

I have been "lurking " for a while, but I don't type, so I haven't said much. I've been growing hibiscus for 8--10 years now, and just got interested in some of the more exotic varieties.. Hibiscus grow beautifully here, sometimes blooming all winter, and don't need a whole lot of care except for water and an occasional dose of fertilizer.

I've had this one a couple of years, but don't know the name. In fact, I've got about a dozen different varieties that I picked up various places over the years, but only recently wondered what their names were.

Thanks...

I have a ruffly pink one called Kona, but yours doesn't quite look like it. There's a really good website that someone here has posted before that has pics of pretty much every hibiscus cultivar in the world, unfortunately I don't have it bookmarked but if you look around on some previous threads you may run across it, or maybe one of the people who knows it will come along and post the link again.

It's on the tip of my tongue. Something like cabeletto or some version of that is what I think. I'll try an look it up.

Maybe something like capelito.........

Guess I'm not cutting and pasting correctly. Sorry! Go to plant files and look under El Capitolio and look at the pink one.
