do you ever wish you'd labelled more carefully?

DC metro, VA(Zone 7b)

I have about a dozen cuttings that could be one of 3 or 4 types of codonanthe or a columnea or an aeschynanthus or two.... these baby leaves all look kinda similar. arrghhhhhhh.

label everything!!!! don't assume that because the adult leaves look distinct enough, that in a few weeks you'll be able to remember or ID them! waahh!

I know what you mean keyring. I should have labeled some of mine in the beginning but I thought I would never forget the names of them but I did. So I agree with you, always label everything.

Oh yes in the begining and now when I'm so tired I have not labeled.

Red Oak, NC(Zone 7b)

I would never remember the name if I didn't! There are just too many.

DC metro, VA(Zone 7b)

yes, it's the "tired" thing... or in my case, the laziness factor. I goofed this time because I put down some 150 cuttings. If I put down 4 of the same, I figured I'd tag one out of the four.... which is fine until you move things around or pull out a few to ship to people. arrrgghh.

Hey Ki. I totally heard what you are saying

Boy, do I ever. I found that permanent pens are not all that permanent when wet.
