Lacunosa & aff. Anulata blooms

Chowchilla, CA(Zone 10a)

This is the first time my lacunosa has ever bloomed for me, and it has produced a whole bunch of peduncles and buds. Here is the first of what I hope are many lacunosa blooms:

Here is a closeup (just because I am so proud...)

Here is my aff. Anulata bloom. This is the second time this season that this plant has bloomed for me & it has a bunch all over the plant (even more than the first time).

Wow..Ann, your photos are GREAT. What kind of camera DID you get? I want details. Ha.
Your blooms are lovely too. You are now forever hooked on hoyas. I think there is something in the smell of the booms that sublinguly mesmerizes us into buying more & more of them. Ha. It's like a drug or something.

Thanks Everyone!!!
For those who asked, the camera I got is an Olympus SP-320. I got it at circuit city for under 200 dollars with a 30 dollar mail-in rebate). It's got 7.1 megapixels and a Super Macro setting which allow for shots as close as .8 inches (2 cm) from the blooms. It's also very user friendly, compact and lightweight - it's too fabulous!

PS for HJM Awanda ... yeah, right. I am so darned afraid of a white guy and his dog who are three inches tall ... what'r they gonna do? Bite my pinky toe? Ooooohhh, I'm scared. Meanwhile, my semi is filled up and ready to roll. ;-)
