Just Arrived....

Philomath, OR

Just a quick note to tell you all (brag :~) that a Hoya Angel visited me today! I purchased:

one cutting of cv. ruthie, (she sent 3 that are twice as big as I expected)
one cutting of cv. optimistic, (she sent 3 also huge)
one small pot of H. heuschkeliana (pink) that was way bigger than I expected,(she sent a cutting of the yellow heuschkeliana, too!),
one cutting of H. australis ssp. australis (she sent 6)
and she threw in a beautiful plant of H. pusilla and 2 NICE cuttings of cv. tanna!!

I may be forgetting something but I am so out of my mind with Hoya joy I can't think straight.

Thank you Hoya Angel, some day I can do the same for someone else!

God bless, -joanne

Those are beautiful, Joanne!!
Something I always do for mailed cuttings is soak them in some cool water with Superthrive - gets 'em all perky!!
Congrats!

Yea for me! All the credit goes to the person who sent them, but I reap the rewards....

Ann, where would I find Superthrive? I use the Velma's VF-11 and have sprayed them but don't have any Superthrive. -joanne

Awanda, I think I may be past 'on my way' :~) I have an order coming from the pimpette (first time I have used that one!) and one coming from Logee's. Oh I hope they don't come on Saturday when the DH is home..............

Joanne I think you mean you use Eleanor's VF-11, that works great too. I use it whenever I don't have any superthrive or even when I do. What did you order from Logee's, I've always been pleased with their plants.

Blessings,

Oh, and Joanne...If you ever need to "hide" your plants from your husband, you are always welcome to "store" them at my home (since we're so close and all). I promise I will be very, very good about giving them back ...
LOL!

Joanne,
You know, this group is really a lot of fun because everyone gets so excited for everyone else when they find buds, blooms, or get new plants - and we collectively get sad when something not so good happens to another member (i.e. hurricanes, deaths, plant loss, and bud blasts). I certainly do enjoy everyone here. Plus, there is the added benefit of wonderful experts who don't treat us like we are idiots wasting their precious time.

Hi everyone. I am new on this forum, and just joined today. I have been reading so many pages and am looking at people's hoyas. I have a few hoyas, one is my grandma's and some are from Lowe's here in my town. I also got a hoya cutting on ebay. I am looking for more exotic hoyas, and have seen some on this site.

Can anyone tell me where the hoya angel is? Is it the same company that sells the angel plants in Lowes and Home Depot? I did search for the hoya angel, but didn't see the same hoyas that are here on this topic.

Thank you for your help. I was told that the best way to learn is to ask ask ask, so I am.
