Some more pretty pictures of Av's & Gesneriads
So beautiful, Allison!! I can't wait for my box...it should come today!
Just beautiful, Allison. I love my Ness Cherry Smolk, too. How long have you had yours. I hope mine proves to be hardy.
I have a couple of friends who have violets that their mother raised. That would make them about 25 to 30 years old. So far I do not have any of my originals.
Thanks Jacki ! I hope you get her today ! I have boxes out for Kelly, Bob " WildBob" and Joanee. Joanne's will take a week as she is in Canada !
Nanna I have had Ness' Cherry Smoke maybe a year ?? I have grown many babies, shared leaves, of her. So she is not real big but a great bloomer .
I have fount though the plants I grow by leaf do the best for me. Grow for my enviroment. That's why it is good to buy a small healthy baby plant will adjust easier. And I always put leaves down incase it does not.
Yes I guess many people have plants that are 20 plus years old. An AV really should live forever .
Me I've only been growing little over two years. And anytimes someone comes to our homes and says it's pretty I give it to them :))
I have a Plain and Fancy blooming here :)) Who else got one ? Who got Annabelle's from Optimara Southern Belle series leaves or plants from me how are they :))
Oooooh, I love those round leaves on Bells of Ireland!
