Isn't this an interesting way to show off your AVs

I know this pot is expensive but isn't it really cool? It just thought that you guys could maybe get some ideas or would just like to look at it.

editted to say that the item has already be removed from the auction.

Since it was removed, maybe it is okay if I show you a picture of it. I hope that I don't get in trouble. I do not claim this photo to be mine so maybe not. Anyway, the top rim is a pot that is not glazed and it sits inside the outside parts and it can also be wicked. Here it is.

Very beautiful. In Grow for Show, the author suggests using varying height containers to stagger the placement of violets on the shelf you keep them. This allows more violets in less room.

Pretty Jesse . You can still put auction number it can be seen even if ended for 90 days.
I bought a lot of these when I first fount named Av's on Ebay. But I never had luck growing in them.
Then when I joined local group they said they were good for silk flowers. So I always plant in plastic and put in just for display.
If you are growing to show you must use white pots, except trailers and gesneriads can be in different type containers.

Very pretty pot.

I'm not growing for show so I guess it does not matter what I use. I know the other AV pots that I was using do not do well, even though they are made for AVs. I have two kinds of AV pots, one that does well because it is shallow and the other one which is really deep. The shallow one does fine but the deep one does not. So I"m taking all of them out of the deep pots and repotting them.
