I have several brugs, and one double white that I started from another plant I have in a large pot. I planted the cutting in a raised and terraced bed on my hillside. The soil is clay and sand, amended with lots of gypsum over the past 3 years, and I've added worm castings and Miracle Grow Garden Soil. The brug blooms and everything, gets full sun, but the leaves are a lime green instead of a dark green like the other brugs I have. I've sprayed it with iron, Mighty Plant, Messenger, Spray-N-Grow, added Ironite to the soil, drenched it with iron solution, used liquid M.G., and even resorted to using that Super Thrive snake oil stuff (I wasn't stupid, I got it at the 99 Cent store). It still looks odd. At least the blooms are sturdy and perfect, but it just doesn't look good. All of the surrounding plants, including 2 hibiscus and a ficus, look great. Does anyone have any other suggestions on how to green it up or what's wrong with it? Thanks!
I need a little help please.
It would be helpful if you could post a picture of its leaves.
Well, It sure sounds like you have been trying hard.
Have you tried Epsom Salts?
Just in case I don't get back when you do...

Thanks. I just read the Epsom salt thread and I'll try that. I use Epsom salt on my yard and never thought about it for the brugs.
Here's the follow up: I was pretty sure the Epsom salts wouldn't work. I tried them anyway. I was wrong. The leaves are now green. I used both foliar spraying and drenched the soil with it. Thanks for the recommendation!
Kin, you beat me to it. I was reading Chunx' (who I haven't heard from in a long time) problem and thinking the same thing only you said it first. Good for you. Glad it worked.
I should go use Epsom salts on my brugs too. I use it all the time on my roses. Thanks for the reminder and push.
