I purchased this Pride of Acadiana from Dupont and this is its fourth bloom. The others looked more or less like this one. In theory it should be a double with yellow edges and pink centers, and on mine you can see little shades of pink in the center, but mostly it's this sort of dirty-water color.
Any ideas? Does anyone else have this cultivar? What's your experience? Am I doing something wrong?
Any ideas appreciated!

Any idea why?
Gosh, I've found some minor differences in the intensity of the color depending on the weather but that is a huge difference.
I think I would email that photo to Dupont and see what they say about it. a
Either they mislabelled and sent you the wrong cultivar, or the picture they have on their website has had its color enhanced deceptively! I would contact them and see if you can get an exchange for the plant you really wanted!
Tess, I don't have any of Bobby's varieties but I have near a thousand pictures of them and, reviewing the picture album, I would say your plant is Champagne Toast.
Regards
Carlos
Just a followup-
Carlos, you were absolutely right! Bobby got back to me and said that is was Champagne Toast. He was great, very professional, and did say that having looked at the website, the wrong pic was posted for Pride of Acadiana, that it was somehow one of the mini ballerina and got me the proper pic. I've attached it in case anyone's interested.
At any rate, the proper one's in the mail, and thanks for your help. I've had such wonderful experiences with Dupont I was *sure* I'd done something to the hibiscus! :)
ohh! pride of Acadiana is very pretty!
Tess that is georgeous! I think I feel another addiction coming on...
