Vero Beach, FL(Zone 9b)

LOL sure Spidey :)
I also have to get back to you on the plants..I am not ignoring you ..just been lazy. I will look through all the non Avs tonight and pop them in the mail to you :)

Dunedin, FL(Zone 10b)

LOrry I would love to trade for the maple leaf hibiscus.
How do you send it ? Has it ever flowered for you ?
I could send you anything you want. Or a good size Brom Pup from Silver Vase. It's I say a foot tall. I can take a picture. It has never bloomed a baby. I have one in bloom now !
They multiply fast in your gardens !
here is one I have blooming now !

Mine are still young..we have gotten a couple of flowers on them though :) and they grow like a bad weed. Bob gave me cuttings of it a while back and I have since made 2 trees of it :) AND even have had to cut it back again. It is in full sun and Just incredible :)
I have them in water now..I will wrap them in wet paper towels and send that way.

I would love a silver vase :) Or cuttings from your lovely night blooming cactus :)
I also have a ephyllum called mini white that my bunny sent me :) I can send you a paddle of that too if you would like

Dunedin, FL(Zone 10b)

I can send the Brom I know you will love it. The owners of park wie says this one is hard to get and she is a collecter big time. We gave her one last year.

Cool :) I am sure I will love them :)
I will get this boxed up :) I am planning on shipping some boxes tomorrow and some on monday :) So you will get them soon :)
You will LOVE thunbergia..we don't do anything with her and she grows so pretty :) Just like your morning glories.
I adore the red leaf hibiscus too! It grows like mad with no care :) and they all root easily too :)

I sure wish that thunbergia was hardy here. It's GORGEOUS! Zone envy...LOL

Dunedin, FL(Zone 10b)

Ok great ! I will ship your's Monday !
Amy can you grow in pots and bring into warmth during the Winter ?

Vero Beach, FL(Zone 9b)

No hurry on shipping hun :)

Thunbergia would be hard to keep in a pot..it gets HUGE and it tends to fall over and root (a type of vine)

Sorry Amy :( I wish it would work for ya

Palm Bay, FL(Zone 9b)

he he..been chuckling this early morning...the maple leaf hibiscus is what I CALL..Florida hollyhock....a MUCH better way to describe it...it grows very tall and THICK>.and smells a bit.....no flower scent as such and NOT a special bloom..BUT a SPECIAL plant...gives lots of seeds...and becomes very woody...Lori glad it's growing well for you..and YEP...it can become a tree like...

Palm Bay, FL(Zone 9b)

one other thought..Allison..i'm sure you have it growing wild there...it starts as a little purple plant....have hubby keep his eyes open for it

Palm Bay, FL(Zone 9b)

here's a pic from last year about this time...you can see how WOODY it is..the blossoms are not from the Fl Hollyhock

.this is a good pic of the TINY Fla Hollyhock blossoms...i keep calling it Hollyhock because it is a better description...it DOES NOT look like a regular hibiscus..but very pretty little flowers

Oh we don't have any. The pictures of it in Plant Files
remind me some of the three beautiful plants Robert bought down our other home Hibiscus Red Hots. It has green and white and red foliage. The bought them $15.00 each and they grew into nice bushes with little red flowers ! In moving about year and half ago he left them all there and we did not take cutting. It's just down the street but I won't ask. Now the people are selling the home they did not like Florida.

Palm Bay, FL(Zone 9b)

Allison..the red hot is very nice and much different...i'll bet they wouldn't mind you taking a cutting..i just stick them in the ground here and have about 75percent rooting so not too bad....hope all is well with everyone..busy at this end..and now very hot weather coming and some rain i think...hugs to you all..bob

Andalusia, AL(Zone 8b)
