Summerville, SC(Zone 8a)

What a surprise! My un-named double white Y'd first and the buds on it still are teeny tiny! Whilst chasing down an iridescent fly with my camera I noticed more formed bud on the Sunray!! and the Sunray is just starting to Y!

My neighbors are now calling me the Crazy Gardener Lady with all the shrieking going on LOL. They haven't a clue as to what I'm screaming and hopping around about.

Kewl pic, X! Are you going to do a photo "log" from mini-bud to full bloom? That'd be neat.

LOL Kell (push those buttons eh?), we have cell differentiation here so I wouldn't put it at the embryo stage .. You can see suture lines in the sheath and also the outline of the actual flower inside the sheath .. its a fetus bud .. yeah ... that's the ticket .. a brug fetus bud! (Am i gonna get into trouble for this?) LOL

We are going to be seeing all kinds of pretty brugs pictures here soon. I have a few with tiny buds myself.

I would settle for any kind of bud at this point X. Embryo or fetal! I told you I am not picky. LOL.

Good for you Franny. I just cut off a huge cutting from a special brug and it had lots of buds, big ones too. It killed me!!
