My new Luna Hibiscus

Beaumont, TX(Zone 8b)

I bought 2 of these beauties recently. Each plant is only about a foot tall. Each day there have been several blooms. This morning there were 6 salad plate size blooms on one of them. It amazes me when I think about the weight of these blooms on the small plants.

Though I must have taken a dozen pictures this morning, I never could get all 6 blooms in the photo.

Janet, They are just lovely! I have some that are very similar in color, don't know the name. Mine should start to bloom about mid July.

Thanks for sharing. Marie

Yes, according to the label from the place I bought them, they are called LUNA.
Here is a closer photo of the blooms. They are about 7-8" across.

I'd love to have a hedge of them going down my driveway! :-)

I haven't seen any seeds. When do they appear? Can you all tell I'm clueless about Hibiscus? I've always bought them as ready to plant plants.

Clueless in SE Texas,
Janet
