This came as a seed from Kyle...the flowers are only about 5" long from top of calyx to skirt and it is almost always solid with blooms!!! It grows straight as a stick too....

YAY...I like!!! It really IS generous and giving, puts out seed pods like a trooper (anybody want some? - all wild crosses) and she is straight and petite.
Mary...how nice of you to say that!!! Say, did you view the lava from the ship....and wasn't the name of the ship Spirit of Aloha?....how about 'Aloha Spirit'.????
We did see some lava from the ship, but with the clouds and haze it wasn't an impressive show that night.
We were on the ship called "Pride of America". There is also one called Pride of Aloha by the same cruise line,

It is really really REALLY dry - and everything is quite thirsty...also the flush is on its last blooms...but here is how she grows (only about 5'high) and started out straight as a stick like that....
One good bloom left...it looks quite white but really just a pale pink....
