Passiflora's SURVIVED WINTER! White flies did too:(

Olathe, KS(Zone 6a)

Hello friends.
I don't know how many of you remember last fall when I decided to leave several different passion flowers in the ground over winter due to lack of space. I had a feeling 1-2 may come back as they were planted on the South side of the house but now I have them popping up on the East and West sides too. I've had Incarnata's coming back for as long as I can remember but now I can add P. Belotti, P. Caruelea and P. Constance Elliot(white caruelea)! There is also a slight possibility of P. lavender Lady and 1 other as well.
We just came home from a camping trip over the holiday when my wife almost took all of these out with the weedeater. We still can hardly believe our eye's but they are there and doing well so far.
We did have a pretty mild winter but all of these guy's were under snow for atleast a couple of weeks.

We're paying for this mild winter bigtime sadly. I usually see white flies almost every August on a few hibiscus and they usually stay on a few plant's only. Last week I brought home many plant's I wintered in a greenhouse and all of them were infested with these pesky flies. Shortly after spraying them the next day, I started seeing them on other plant's too. I thought maybe they had spread from the infested plant's i brought home until my inlaw's across town called asking for some garden help. Now I've yet to find a garden that doesn't have them!
I can't helpbut to wonder what other pests will show up now. I have a feeling it's going to be a rough summer for gardening so I'm breaking out the systemic's earlier than ever before. It's such a sad note to begin the season with. I guess it's to be expected now and then.

Is anyone else seeing any pest's that are unusual for Spring/Summer? I don't wish problems on anyone but I'm curious to see what everyone else is seeing.
Take care all, JD

I've got plenty of whiteflies, already. I ordered some beneficials to take care of that, but they still haven't arrived. Getting pretty anxious here. My passis are getting chewed on by something, but I can't ever catch the culprit...guess I'll just let the hungry critter feast.(probably butterfly or caterpillers) Hope your systemic kicks in well!lol
