This is for all you bell bloom lovers!
Bell Flower
Wow so pretty ! What plant is this >?
It's called Bell Flower. That is all that I know. I would love to know the "official" name. Would like more. It is a perenial and spreads slowly. It's three years old this summer and has spread about a foot.

oh my goodness how neat, where did you buy it from? and can it take the heat.i don,t have much shade and what i have it,s done taken, but far that i,ll dig something up.beautifull
It it planted on the east of the house. Does very well with the heat and humidity. Does not get bugs. While I was weeding this morning I accidently pulled up three stems. They had a little root system so I planted them. We'll see how they do. If they do well, I will try some starts for trade.
Very Pretty!
It's one of the campanulas, Nanna. And it's beautiful!
Here...maybe it's this:

WOW!!! Pink bells, that is a beauty.
Jacki it sure does look like the plant in FC !
Bellflower 'Kent Belle'
I see them every morning from the East window. We have a gigantic window at the east of the house it is 5 feet by 12 feet and slants outward. I love it. We are planning on moving in about 3 years when Bill retires. I will miss this house and yard.
Move no way...you need to layer this window with glass shelves !
it is definitely too big for shelves. Besides I have plenty of other places for flowers. This window is my entrance into woods, right from my living room. Besides it would be too cold for anything to grow by this window in the winter. Really too cold; but beautiful to watch the falling snow.
Oooh, that sounds like a wonderful window -- a true "picture window!" You'll just have to make sure your retirement home has an equally good view. :-)
LOL... forgot what I got onto this thread to say! I have a pair of Canterbury Bell plants that SevenSisters sent me last year, and they are putting up a bunch of flower buds. :-D I didn't expect them to be such tall plants... they must be 3 ft high now... Is your plant tall too, Nanna?
No, it is not very tall. I think the tallest stikes are about 2 feet. I love canterbury Bells. Please send pictures.
It is Campanula 'cherry bells' - oh so pretty!
KayJones. Thank you so much. Do you have them?
