My perlite babies

Dallas, TX(Zone 8a)

I want to show you my perlite babies but I've done them in a different way. This is an experiment so disregard it if it does not turn out right.

I guess it turned out okay. What I have found in doing this experiment is that it takes the perlite moms longer to produce babies than it does when I put them in regular soil. So from now on I'll use my mix of one third AV soil and two thirds Perlite.

Looks like they are doing great. I generally start to get diminishing returns after a while so I move them over to soil but yours look like they working!

Looks good Jesse. I have done progating Av leaves many ways . But soil is always the fastest for me. I have read many articles with people's experiments and soil-less mix light was always the fastest and healthest babies !

Thanks everyone for all of your compliments. Allison, I have noticed that your mix is very close to mine. Very light and does not hold so much water. That really helps a whole lot.
