Wonderful visit

Winnipeg, MB(Zone 4a)

Thank you, Brenda! I had a wonderful visit with you touring your beautiful gardens. You have such a variety of plants. It was fun strolling along with our glass of wine. I'm posting a few of some of the beautiful flowers that I could do justice with my camera. Brenda will have to give us the proper names. Here is a Meconopsis or Blue Poppy.

I thought a very striking iris. Is this Lemon Sherbert, Brenda?

Last week I had missed a horticultural plant sale I usually go to because of my car. Due to Brenda's generosity of plants she loaded me up with this made up for it. Thank you again, Brenda!!!
Hugs, Donna

It was a nice visit, and Donna didn't come empty handed either. You are so welcome, I hope it helps to fill up your already overflowing gardens.

The little Iris is Crown Princess. I think the second Primula is cortisoides. The blue poppy is M. grandis.

Sounds like you two had a great time! Love the pictures, and especially that blue poppy-that's simply WOW!

Brenda you do have the magic touch!!! It is a miracle to see that blue poppy growing on the baking prairies (considering it likes Alaska's and BC's cool and wet climate so much more).

Donna thank you for sharing your visit to echoes garden (and Brenda I hope you will be adding many more pics of your lovelies :).

one more post just to say............that blue poppy's coloring is amazing (I just had to enlarge it one more time ;).

Thank you, I love those poppies too. I hope this one and it's sister will return next year.
