I am in a pickle, Brian. I have planted out tons (well, not really TONS, but a lot) of Caladiums. They get the usual fert which is random and sporatic. I have seen such beautiful clumps and shows of them...I would love to know what they dearly love....to make them fullfill their greatest personal ambitions!!!!

Carol,

I plant my Caladiums in a combination of peat humus, potting soil(MG brand) and cow manure. I have tried different ratios of the mix and have found that a 50%/25%/25% of the mixture seens to do the best. I will also put a little bit of some slow release fertilizer(9-6-6) in with the mixture. When I water them, about every 4-5 weeks I will use a feeder and use half the recommended amount of MGrow. Mine are doing great!!!

Bill
