Hello Neighbor! I am sooooo green with envy! How many can you have in the city? Is it 3? I think your coop looks great.

I tried very hard to get some chickens. My DH put the foot down and said no chicks for me. He thinks our Jack Russells will make dinner out of them in no time. Humph!!!

Keep us posted on your progress!

Great coop, veeja. Washington state is pretty chicken friendly, huh. That's where the "city chicken" site is based, right?

Sue, your husband's a smart guy. I wouldn't have a Jack Russell anywhere near my birds unless I'd had six months to train the dog. I dread neighbors who can't control theirs...

Great looking coop. Looks just right for 3 chickens. It's surprising how small a space they all get into to roost at night. No matter how much space, seems like they all huddle up in one tiny area of mine. So long as you leave pleanty of ventilation for them for the summer nights, they should do great.

Thankyou all for your input. yes it is 3 allowed, no roosters. I have jack russells. they have their own pen, when they are out they will be taught it is a no. they are never out unless we are with them.
